How do we research your family?
If you give us your trust in researching your ancestors, we will need your support and as much data as humanly possible to get started.
Output data
Based on the person for whom the pedigree or family tree is to be created, we need the following basic data from you:
First and last name of the starting position
Date of birth Place of birth
possibly wedding date, wedding location, relevant documents
possibly date of death, place of death, relevant documents
First and last name of parents
Date of birth, place of birth, related documents
Wedding date, wedding location, relevant documents
If deceased: date of death, place of death, relevant documents
First and last name of the grandparents
If available, date of birth, place of birth, relevant documents
If available, date of marriage, place of marriage, relevant documents
If available, date of death, place of death, relevant documents
You can upload the scanned documents, images and information to your personal folder in the locked internal area or hand them over in a personal research meeting (link to the flat-rate costs).
Research work
In genealogy you are naturally dependent on the availability, findability and readability of the necessary sources. Hence, successful exploration of a number of generations cannot be guaranteed. However, we strive to achieve your wishes or the goals set as best as possible.
Free updates
Should further research reveal new information about your family history, you will receive free research updates from us. So you always stay up to date.
